APPLE CRUMBLE

INGREDIENTS:

  • 3 apples, diced

  • 1 tsp nutmeg

  • 1 tbs water

  • 1/3 cup stevia

  • 1/3 cup oats

  • 60g nuttelex

  • 1/3 cup wholemeal spelt flour

  • 1/3 cup walnuts, chopped

  • 1tbs honey

METHOD:

  1. Pre heat oven to 180 degrees.

  2. Place chopped apples in a round baking dish. Cover with 1 tsp stevia, nutmeg and water.

  3. In a food processor blend the oats, flour, stevia and nuttelex until mixture resembles bread crumbs.

  4. Press mixture onto apples and smooth over with a wet spoon.

  5. Sprinkle walnuts and drizzle honey over the apple and crumble.

  6. Bake in the oven for 40 minutes or until golden on top.
